Business Feature
Clause Negotiation
Let parties negotiate the terms of a contract inside the signing page. No email back-and-forth, no re-sending the document, no losing track of which version is current.
How it works
Flag a clause
A signer flags a clause they want to change directly on the signing page and proposes revised wording.
Respond or counter
The sender responds by accepting the change or countering with different text. Both parties see updates in real time, no page refresh needed.
Applied to the live document
Once both sides agree, the accepted wording is spliced into the live document. Negotiation can run up to 10 rounds per clause.
Part of the sealed record
Content-addressed changes
When a change is accepted, it is spliced into the document and cryptographically anchored, content-addressed so the exact accepted wording can always be verified.
Every round in the audit trail
Every flag, response, and counter is recorded in the hash-chained audit trail, so the negotiation itself becomes part of the sealed evidence, not a side conversation that disappears.
Availability
Clause negotiation is available on the Business plan.
Stop chasing redlines by email
Move contract negotiation into the signing page itself, on the record, from the first flagged clause to the final signature.
