The Parties acknowledge that certain states, including California (Talent Agencies Act, Cal. Labor Code § 1700 et seq.) and New York (General Business Law Article 11), regulate talent agencies and may impose licensing requirements on persons who procure employment for artists. The Manager shall not engage in activities that require a talent agency license unless the Manager holds such license. If any provision of this Agreement conflicts with applicable state talent agency laws, such laws shall control.
