Parts 120–130, governing defense articles, defense services, and technical data on the U.S. Munitions List (USML). Violations of the EAR or ITAR may result in civil penalties of up to $1,325,110 per violation (EAR) or $1,368,765 per violation (ITAR), criminal fines up to $1,000,000 per violation, imprisonment up to 20 years (EAR) or 20 years (ITAR), and debarment from future export privileges.
